United Methodist Women

A very active United Methodist Women's group is a vital part of the church. Numerous Circles meet both during the day and in the evening. General meetings are the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. Information on the UMW Circles can be obtained by calling or e-mailing the church office.

 

Piecemakers
A quilting group meeting each Wednesday at 9:30 am

United Methodist Men
A well organized United Methodist Men Fellowship carries on a year round program of service and fellowship. 
A number of activities include a Sweetheart Dinner, fish fry, golf tournaments, Christmas Sub-For-Santa 
and providing scholarships for college bound members. 
F.L.A.M.E.:(Fun Loving Adults Making Entertainment)
This is a group for all adults, single and married. We meet every other month and is 
a time to make new friends, see old friends.

Bread Ministry:
Bread ministers deliver a loaf of bread to visitors as a way of welcoming and thanking them for
   visiting our church and inviting them to worship with us again.

Christian Care Network
A group of volunteers who help prepare a meal for our members when the need arises.

Book Talk
 This book club meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM to discuss the current month's book.

Powder Prayers
 This group meets on the first Saturday of each month during ski season at the "Upper Room" of Hidden Lake Lodge
 at Powder Mountain Ski Resort.   A time of devotions and fellowship on the slopes is enjoyed by all.

Pathway Prayers
Pathway Prayers is a hiking group that meets on the first Saturday of each month during
the spring/summer/fall months. Bring your sunscreen, water, light sandwich and happy feet.

Other Activities:



  Prayer Shawl Ministry

Shawls have been made for centuries; they are universal and embracing; they comfort and enfold; wrap and warm; parent and hug; shelter and beauty.   Members knit/crochet God's love, care and warmth into each shawl.  The completed shawls are blessed and given to others in need of comfort and prayers. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 2:00 pm.
