Rev. Alane Currier Griggs
Senior Pastor

The Reverend Alane Currier Griggs is a Grand Junction, Colorado native. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she received a Bachelor of Music in violin performance with a choral literature and conducting minor.  From 1991-1994, she attended seminary at the Boston University School of Theology where she earned a Master of Divinity degree.  She was ordained elder in the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1996.  She served as pastor of Mancos United Methodist Church; Mancos, Colorado from 1994-1999.  She was appointed to First United Methodist Church, Ogden, Utah in July of 1999.  Rev. Alane is married with one son.
